When your body is stressed out, it gets sick more easily because it can no longer regulate its inner balance. Heart coherence (heart rate variability = HRV) is a universal indicator of your body's tension and relaxation, so it is an important test in the prevention of burnout. Stress, depression, and bodily diseases make the rhythm of your pulse uneven or chaotic, whereas it is harmonious (= coherent) in a relaxed state. The HRV test tells us how well your organism can regulate itself.
